I qualified as a Person-Centred Counsellor in 2015. I was inspired to complete a Diploma in Person Centred Counselling after volunteering at a young person’s advice centre in Bristol back in the 1990s.
There can be times in life when something has become troubling or confusing, or you just can’t seem to find the answer and need a space to explore this to try and find a solution. Counselling can offer a non-judgemental and collaborative space in which to find this – working together to find a way through.
I work with adults, and have experience of working with anxiety, bereavement, depression, work-related issues, low self-esteem and confidence, stress, and trauma. I am currently researching the mental health impacts of social contagions, particularly on young people. My other interest is in mental health and the ageing process.
I have a separate garden room as my counselling space, and also work in other locations across the county. I am available for telephone counselling too.
