I offer consultancy to schools, parents and Arts Therapists. I also run a therapy supervision practice.
Art Therapy is a creative form of psychotherapy and it can be helpful for a variety of problems. It offers an opportunity to think about current situations and past experiences in a totally confidential environment.
The overall aim is to effect change and growth on a personal level through the use of art materials and in the relationship between the therapist and the client. People who come to Art Therapy need have no previous experience or skill in art. At times some clients prefer art-making to talking, others choose to talk and many use a mixture of both.
